Boot Fitting
47 degrees have been fitting and customising ski boots for our customers since 1986, providing the ultimate in fit, comfort and performance. Listening to your experiences and feedback, together with our knowledge and experience, we are able to produce customised foot beds and select the correct ski boot to fit your foot and needs.
47 degrees ski boot fitting service:
Make an enquiry by phone to discuss your needs or email through to our store, then one of our professional, experienced boot fitters will call you to gain more information and organise an appointment.
At the appointment we give you an initial assessment of foot shape, skiing history, fitness, physical build, and what you wish to achieve with your skiing.
We proceed to analyse your foot shape and pressure distribution, then using biomechanical knowledge we proceed to select the correct shape and flex-level (stiffness) for your needs.
The correct boot and potential benefits of a moulded foot bed will then be explained.
The foot bed and cuff alignment will then ensure that "perfect fit".
All boots fitted by 47 degrees staff are covered by our “comfort fit guarantee", entitling the customer to come back and have their boots refitted free of charge within one calendar year.
There are no fitting costs on boots purchased at 47 degrees, this includes stretching and all adjustments.
Custom-moulded foot beds are priced from £45.00 on top of the price of the boots.
Refitting Ski Boots:
If you require your existing boots to be re-fitted you can book in with our boot fitters who will aim to make your boots fit correctly, however if this is not possible then we will explain why you have the wrong boot and suggest some other options.
We charge £25.00 per hour spent fitting boots NOT purchased at 47 degrees.
Boot stretching is available from £8.00
Boot fitting is our speciality; whether your boots are new or old, to us it's about the correct fit, not the sale. We will always offer to make your existing boots fit first!
